Getting Started

Where exactly are you located?

We’re in the Agafay Desert, about 30 km from Marrakech — roughly a 40–45 minute drive from the city centre. Agafay is the closest desert to Marrakech, so you get the full dunes-and-silence experience without the long haul to the Sahara.

Is Agafay a « real » desert with sand dunes?

Agafay is a stone and clay desert rather than the tall sand dunes of the Sahara. Think rolling, lunar-like hills, wide-open horizons, and incredible sunsets backed by the snow-capped Atlas Mountains. It’s dramatic, photogenic, and far easier to reach.

How do I get there?

Most travellers come by private taxi, rental car, or a transfer arranged through their hotel or riad. If you’d like us to help organise transport from Marrakech, mention it when you book and we’ll let you know the available options.

Do you offer pickup from Marrakech?

Reach out before booking and we’ll confirm whether pickup is available for your activity and group size, along with any added cost.

What’s the difference between a quad and a buggy?

A quad (ATV) is a single-rider four-wheeler you drive yourself — agile and hands-on. A buggy (side-by-side) seats you in a roll-caged vehicle with a steering wheel, so it’s a good choice for couples, families, or anyone who prefers to share the ride.

Which quad or buggy models do you have?

Our fleet includes the CAN-AM Maverick X3, CAN-AM 700, CF-ZFORCE 1000, KYMCO 300 MAXXER, and the CF QUAD 520L — from beginner-friendly quads to high-powered buggies.

Do I need experience to ride a quad or buggy?

No experience needed. Every ride starts with a safety briefing and a short handling demo, and a guide rides with the group the whole way. Routes suit first-timers, with the pace set to your comfort level.

Can beginners and kids take part?

Absolutely — our activities are built for all levels. Camel and horse rides suit nearly everyone, and quads/buggies are beginner-friendly. (Add your minimum age and rules for children.)

Overnight Stays

Can I sleep in the desert?

Yes. We offer comfortable tents so you can fall asleep under one of the clearest starry skies near Marrakech:

• Double Tent — from 2100 dh. Intimate setup for couples or solo travellers.
• Triple Tent — from 2500 dh. Cozy stay for small groups or families.
• Quad Tent — from 3000 dh. Roomy option for larger groups or friends.

What’s included in an overnight stay?

Tent accommodation plus the desert-camp experience. (Confirm what’s included — dinner, breakfast, entertainment, activities.)

Is there electricity, bathrooms, and Wi-Fi at the camp?

Our camp is equipped for a comfortable night in the desert. (Add amenities — bathrooms, charging points, hot water, Wi-Fi.)

Booking & Payment

How do I book?

The fastest way is WhatsApp at +212 661 887 020. Tell us your preferred activity, date, time, and group size, and we’ll confirm availability and next steps. You can also book through our Activities page.

Do I need to book in advance?

We recommend booking ahead, especially for sunset slots, dinner shows, and overnight stays, which fill up quickly. Same-day requests are sometimes possible — just message us and ask.

How do I pay, and is a deposit required?

We’ll confirm payment details when you book. (Spell out accepted payment methods and any deposit.)

Are prices per person or per group?

Activity prices like the quad (250 dh) and camel ride (150 dh) are typically per person, while tents are priced per stay. Message us with your group details for a clear, all-in total.

What’s your cancellation and refund policy?

Get in touch and we’ll walk you through our terms. (Add cancellation window and refund/reschedule terms.)

On the Day

What should I wear and bring?

Closed shoes, comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dusty, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat. In cooler months bring a layer for the evening — desert temperatures drop fast after sunset. A scarf is handy on quad and buggy rides, and don’t forget your camera.

When is the best time to visit?

Mornings and late afternoons are most comfortable for activities, and sunset is the standout moment in Agafay — golden light over the hills with the Atlas Mountains behind. Spring and autumn offer the mildest weather; summer days are hot (early or evening rides are best) and winter evenings are cold but clear.

How long do the activities last?

Durations vary by activity. (List approximate ride lengths — e.g. 1h quad, 2h quad, camel ride.)

Is it safe? What about insurance and equipment?

Safety comes first. You’ll get a full briefing before motorised activities, helmets for quads and buggies, and a guide with you throughout. (Confirm insurance coverage and any waiver.)

Can I take photos and videos?

Yes — and you’ll want to. Agafay is one of the most photogenic spots near Marrakech, especially at golden hour. Tag us so we can share your adventure with the community.

Do you host groups, families, and private events?

Yes — from couples to large groups and celebrations. Tell us your group size and what you have in mind, and we’ll tailor a plan.

I have dietary restrictions — can you accommodate them?

Let us know in advance (vegetarian, vegan, allergies, halal preferences) and we’ll do our best to arrange your meal.
